Mike Estey brings real-world experience from both owning and advising landscape businesses. Before becoming an advisor, Mike built and successfully sold his own landscape construction and trucking company, giving him firsthand experience with the challenges of growth, leadership, and operational complexity.
He later spent over six years as the Lead Landscape Coach at Breakthrough Academy, working closely with dozens of landscape business owners across North America. In that role, Mike helped owners clarify priorities, build accountability, and implement systems that drove measurable improvement in profitability, leadership, and execution.
Mike’s background blends hands-on ownership, structured coaching, and deep industry exposure. He understands what it takes to scale a landscape business because he has lived it, coached it, and helped owners work through the same pressures they face today.
